Ockley is a small village on the sussex /surrey border ,built alongside the old Roman road, now the A29 main road, Many Roman artifacts have been found in and around the village of Ockley. It has a medieval church and appears in the Doomsday book of 1086.The village lies at the bottom of Leith Hill. Leith Hill Tower is owned by the National Trust and is the highest point in South-East England. The village green supports a cricket ground and a football pitch.
